El RENO- Redlands Community College student Wesley Kraintz was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the CHS Foundation.

Kraintz is an agriculture student who came to Redlands from Winters, California. He is one of only 25 students nationwide to receive this scholarship through the CHS Foundation Two-Year College Scholarship Program.

The CHS Foundation is the major giving entity of CHS Inc., an energy, grains and food company. An independent committee selected recipients based on essays, transcripts and reference letters.
