OSU, Redlands Agreements Simplify Transfer Opportunities

Redlands Community College and Oklahoma State University have signed transfer agreements designed to help students earning an associate degree in business administration to easily transfer to OSU for the completion of a bachelor’s degree.

“We are excited to provide our students with greater options for continuing their education within the state,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “It is our goal to provide opportunities for continuous academic growth and to equip our students with the knowledge and experience to be successful in the workforce. With these transfer agreements, our graduates will have expanded options to prepare them for a variety of challenging careers.”

The transfer agreements will allow Redlands students earning Associate of Arts degrees in Business Administration to seamlessly transition to the OSU Spears School of Business where they can earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Finance, Management, Marketing and General Business. All four of these majors are available on campus or online, and can be completed two years after graduating from Redlands.

“Transfer students are a vital component of our student body and we appreciate Redlands working with us on this agreement,” said Dr. Ken Eastman, dean of the Spears School of Business. “We know that it will make it easier for their students to transfer to Spears and we hope that a number of Redland students will take advantage of this opportunity.”

Both institutions will be working together to assist students as they complete the degree requirements at Redlands and make the transition to OSU.

“We appreciate this partnership with OSU and look forward to increasing opportunities for our students,” Bryant added.
