If I test positive for COVID-19, what should I do?
- Stay home and isolate for 5 days after symptoms first appeared AND until symptoms have improved.
- If you have a fever, continue to stay at home until 24 hours have passed after the fever.

- Contact your instructors to make arrangements to keep up with coursework.
If I test positive for COVID-19 but don't have symptoms, what should I do?
- Stay home and isolate for 5 days after your COVID-19 test AND if no symptoms have developed. If symptoms develop, follow the protocol above for a person who tests positive and has symptoms.
- If you have a fever, continue to stay at home until 24 hours have passed after the fever.

If I’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, what should I do?
If you have been boosted OR completed the Pfizer or Moderna series within the last 6 months OR completed the J&J series in the past 2 months:
- Wear a mask around others for 10 days after exposure.
- Test on day 5 from exposure if possible.
- If you develop symptoms, get tested and follow the protocol above.
If you completed the Pfizer or Moderna series over 6 months ago and are not boosted OR completed the J&J series over 2 months ago and are not boosted OR are not vaccinated:
- Stay home for 5 days after exposure and then wear a mask around others for an additional 5 days.
- If you can’t stay home, you should wear a mask for 10 days after the date of exposure.
- Test on day 5 from exposure if possible.
- If you are staying home, notify Eli Zucksworth, the Redlands Institutional Compliance Officer, and contact your instructors to make arrangements to keep up with coursework.
- If you develop symptoms, get tested and follow the protocol above.
Oklahoma Health Department recommendation for calculating your isolation or quarantine start and end date:
- Day your symptoms started (day zero)
- Day you tested (day zero)
- If you tested, without symptoms, and are awaiting a result and now have an onset of symptoms, your day zero will now be the day your symptoms started
- Last day of exposure (day zero)
