National

Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education regulations specify all students who are admitted to an accredited institution of higher learning in Oklahoma must take the ACT examination Redlands Community College has been designated as a national testing center for the ACT. Students wishing to take the National ACT must register online at www.actstudent.org. The ACT costs $38 (No Writing) or $54.50 for ACT PLUS Writing.

Redlands will be conducting the National ACT on these dates:
June 11, 2016 @ 8:00 a.m.
December 10, 2016 @ 8:00 a.m.
April 8, 2017
June 10, 2017

Residual (not given at this time)

An on-campus, or residual, testing program is provided for ACT-participating colleges to administer the ACT to enrolled or admitted students who were unable to test on a national test date.

  • Results are reported only to the college administering the test. No Student Reports or High School Reports are generated, and no Additional Score Reports will be generated to report scores to any other institution. Score reports from the Residual ACT will only be valid at Redlands. A copy of the score report will be sent to Redlands' Office of Admissions.
  • The Residual ACT is administered by the college according to a published schedule*
  • Students may not repeat residual testing until 60 days have passed since their previous testing.
  • Students must pre-register, one week prior to test date, through Redlands’ Testing Center and meet eligibility requirements.
  • Payment of $40 must be made in the Business Office prior to testing.
  • Students must present the paid receipt and a photo I.D. on the test date.

* We reserve the right to reschedule a test date if fewer than five students are pre-registered for that date. All registration forms must be received at least one week prior to the exam date in order for students to test.
