Adjunct Professor for Physical Science - Part-time position(s).
Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for an adjunct teaching position in Physical Sciences. Morning/Daytime/Online classes available. Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructors - Part-time positions.
Redlands Community College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for clinical instruction for the ACEN accredited and OBN approved Associate Degree in Nursing RN program. Successful candidates will work in a team, either freshman or sophomore level, in clinical settings with nursing student groups. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to pre-conference with nursing students at clinical facilities as required, clinical supervision, post-conference with students, grading of care plans, and clinical evaluations of nursing students at the end of clinical experience. Adjunct orientation will be provided to facilitate the role of clinical instructor and review paperwork necessary for the role. Redlands strives to maintain a climate of open communication where faculty is included in decision making and guidance of situations with students. Qualifications include an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license; equivalent of two years full-time practice as an RN; and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Adjunct Instructor(s) for Mathematics - Part-time position(s).

Academic Advisor for Title IV Student Support Services Grant - Full-time position.
Full-time, federally-funded grant program, with excellent benefits.  This position will report to the SSS Project Director.  This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day activities involved in providing academic counseling and advising services to SSS participants, as well as share in the responsibility to support efforts of project and participant success.  Responsibilities include:  provide academic, career, financial, and transfer counseling to SSS participants; provide social/personal counseling for minor problems and refer serious or crisis counseling needs to area professional services as needed; assist SSS staff members and the director with the identification and placement of eligible participants; conduct needs assessment and career assessment; monitor participant programs in SSS activities and in college classes including regular reports to the SSS director and discussions with Redlands faculty members as appropriate; assist SSS participants in applying for financial aid and scholarships; assist graduating SSS participants in transfer to four-year institutions; facilitate peer mentoring and support groups for participants; and fulfill other project responsibilities as assigned by the project director.  Qualifications include:  Bachelor's degree or higher in Student Affairs, College Relations, or related field; a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing support services to college students from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or students traditionally underrepresented in higher education (preferably in community colleges); knowledge of occupational, career and academic assessment instruments; strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency with computer databases; documented experience in presenting workshops, seminars, small group and individual discussions, and orientation sessions; knowledge of college financial aid programs and application procedures; experience in providing academic counseling, career counseling and disability accommodations for college students; demonstrated ability to work with disadvantaged, at-risk and traditionally under-represented student populations; and a background similar to that of SSS participants (preferred).  To apply:  submit a cover letter, resume, copies of college transcripts, and three references with names, addresses, and phone numbers.  Position it open until filled.

Advising Specialist - Full-time position.
This is a full-time, 12-month, professional staff position with excellent benefits. Position reports to the Senior Academic Advisor. Responsibilities include: Provide academic advising and specialized retention services to targeted groups as well as the general population of students enrolled in various education programs, including transfer and vocational training programs; develop and implement best practices on issues pertaining to student academic advisement, student retention and student success; support the Retention Specialist with the Early Alert student retention system; support the Admissions Specialist with the student admissions process and oversee all International Student Admissions at the college. Advising services include, assistance in developing academic goals, long- and short-term academic plans, unofficial transcript evaluations, informal degree audits, evaluation of placement test scores and providing information on degree programs at Redlands Community College. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) related experience working with college students, preferably within a community college setting. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, with excellent writing and speaking skills. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment of constant change and possess effective decision making and problem solving skills. Customer oriented mindset is a must. SUPPORT

Fitness Center Workers – Part-time positions.
Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week.  Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. Qualifications include good communication skills both written and verbal, strong work ethic, reliable, good social skills and customer service skills, must be able to work without supervision, must be able to work a variety of hours including weekends and evenings, ability to handle emergency situations, ability to work with diverse populations, and ability to lift 50 pounds.  Responsible for making sure shift is covered if unable to work.  Applications may be picked up from the Human Resources Department at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036.  Positions are open until filled. 

Peer Tutors for NASNTI-STEM - Part-time position(s).
Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Science and Mathematics. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study and learning to enhance academic success, and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff. Qualifications include: a grade of “B” or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided and enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College is preferred, though students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. Peer tutors must exhibit good work habits such as time management, resource management, and flexibility. Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position.
The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, which may include some evening hours. Responsibilities include opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications include enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Lifeguards - Part-time positions.
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week positions. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in a quick and effective manner; enforce all facility policies, rules and regulations; inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor; and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include: current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid, and American Red Cross CPR/AED; and have a thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques. Manager of Men's Basketball Operations - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College, a member of the NJCAA, is accepting applications for the position of Manager of Men's Basketball Operations. Part-time professional tutor positions working up to 10 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. Security Officer – Part-time position.
Part-time position, averaging 16 hours per week. Applicant should be willing to work weekends. Applicant must be dependable, self-motivated, detail oriented, hardworking, and physically fit. Reliable transportation is required. Familiarity with federal and state law enforcement regulations is a plus. CLEET certification is a plus. Familiarity with technology is an asset. Yoga Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Yoga Instructor. The Beginning Yoga Instructor will be responsible for providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for the Wellness/Longevity beginning yoga class participants. This will be in the form of instructing and demonstrating safe yoga poses, guiding safe stretching, and practicing breathing exercises. The individual in this position must be able to instruct a yoga class and provide levels of modification tailored to the individual's needs. A Yoga certification is required to instruct the class and a CPR certification is required for the safety of the class. Zumba Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Zumba Instructor. The applicant must be able to safely encourage and instruct participants on Zumba routines. Motivational skills are a must, as a variety of fitness levels will be present in most classes. The Instructor is responsible for providing their own music and choreography for each class. Good communication tools are necessary to communicate and properly instruct the class. Proof of certification is required. Experience is preferred. Qualifications include: successfully completed the course of study with a grade of "B" or better for which they will be tutoring. Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. CLERY STATEMENT

Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and security of our campuses.

Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands, to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is believed to exist.
