Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructors - Part-time positions.

Director of Veterans Upward Bound - Full-time, grant-funded position.
Full-time, 12-month, grant-funded position with leadership and administrative oversight of all VUB grant operations.  Position reports to the Executive Dean for Student Success.  Duties:  Responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operations of the VUB program including, but not limited to: budgeting, planning, administering and the supervision of professional and support staff.  Establish and maintain internal and external partnerships with local community partners and other veteran servicing agencies to recruit new veterans to the program and ensure the success of participating veterans.  Serves as the chief liaison to faculty, staff, and administrators of the college and the VUB project's servicing area.  Develop and disseminate informational materials about the VUB program and communicate project services and objectives to the college community and local veteran-serving agencies.  Oversee recruitment and make final decisions on applicants' admission to the program.  Supervise staff efforts to ensure that activities and services are provided according to the legislation and regulations of the U.S. Department of Education and will lead to meeting program objectives.  Coordinate pre- and post-testing for all VUB participants and ensure that the program meets its objective related to this service.  Conduct needs assessments for all new VUB participants in collaboration with other program staff.  Identify academic needs of VUB participants based on pre-tests and coordinate appropriate interventions through services such as academic instruction or tutoring.  Coordinate VUB refresher courses, including hiring of instructors and collection and documentation of lesson plans, attendance, progress reports, and evaluations.  Provide personal, career, financial, and academic guidance to veteran participants.  Develop and administer tracking systems for all program participants.  Maintain accurate records of participants' eligibility, participation, and academic progress.  Authorize the commitment and expenditure of all program funds in accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of Education and the State of Oklahoma and the policies of Redlands Community College. Other duties as assigned. Academic Specialist for Veterans Upward Bound - Full-time, grant-funded position.
This is a Full Time, 12-month, federally-funded grant position with excellent benefits. Position will report to the Redlands VUB Director. Responsibilities include counseling and advisement of program participants to provide services, supports, guidance, and referrals as necessary to ensure participant success, maintain program records, coordinate programs and services, attend veteran related events to promote program and develop a working relationship with key offices at local higher education institutions in order to assist in coordinating with and advocating for participants. This position will be located primarily at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Oklahoma City. There will be additional travel required to serve veterans in other counties of the target area as required. Bachelor's Degree required in education, counseling or related field; Master's degree preferred. Applicant must have demonstrated computer skills and ability to communicate with diverse populations. Manager of Men's Basketball Operations - Part-time position.

Fitness Center Workers – Part-time positions.
Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week.  Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. General Farm Hand - Part-time position.
Part-time position working up to 25 hours per week.  Livestock work is mainly with meat goats.  Duties will include tending to live animals, which includes feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals.  Other duties may include maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate.  Applicant must be able to do general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas; have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and string trimmers; be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds; be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; be able to tolerate animal dander; and be able to work a highly flexible work schedule, including evening, weekend and holiday work.  Applications may be picked up from the Human Resources Office at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036.  Position is open until filled.

Technology Support Services Specialist - Full-time position.
Full-time position with excellent benefits.  This position is supervised by the Coordinator of Technology Support Services (TSS).  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support for online learning and IETV systems, upkeep and maintenance of Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager, video conferencing equipment, network equipment, VoIP phone equipment, and client computer systems (workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.), and assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all college technology assets.  Applicants must have the ability to diagnose and correct common software and hardware problems, establish effective working relationships with students, faculty, and staff, work a flexible schedule when needed, and multi-task/adjust priorities in a changing work environment.  A minimum of one year of experience with video conferencing equipment, learning management system support, and end-user software/hardware support in a multi-tiered helpdesk environment is preferred.  Applicants must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (including Office 365), Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox administration, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager client configuration, Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection management, Microsoft Group Policy, Microsoft Windows Server Update Services, user and group membership management, computer and printer deployment, remote assistance utilities, and/or over-the-phone assistance. Part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week. Work is at the Royce Ranch campus. Responsibilities include general care of arenas (i.e. cleaning of arena, arena stalls and mare motel, grooming of arena dirt, etc.), feeding and care of horses, general maintenance, painting, mowing, operating farm machinery and equipment and other duties as assigned. Part-time position(s) working up to 6 hours per week. The Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program is seeking tutor(s) for their satellite office located on the campus of Cameron University in Lawton, OK. Specifically, VUB is seeking tutor(s) in the following areas of study: Mathematics, Reading and Writing. Tutor(s) will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions; facilitate learning as a guide to assist VUB participants to become successful, independent learners; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the participant's potential for academic progress. Security Officer – Part-time position.
Part-time position, averaging 16 hours per week. Applicant should be willing to work weekends. Applicant must be dependable, self-motivated, detail oriented, hardworking, and physically fit. Reliable transportation is required. Familiarity with federal and state law enforcement regulations is a plus. CLEET certification is a plus. Familiarity with technology is an asset. Yoga Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Yoga Instructor. The Beginning Yoga Instructor will be responsible for providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for the Wellness/Longevity beginning yoga class participants. This will be in the form of instructing and demonstrating safe yoga poses, guiding safe stretching, and practicing breathing exercises. The individual in this position must be able to instruct a yoga class and provide levels of modification tailored to the individual's needs. A Yoga certification is required to instruct the class and a CPR certification is required for the safety of the class. Zumba Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Zumba Instructor. The applicant must be able to safely encourage and instruct participants on Zumba routines. Motivational skills are a must, as a variety of fitness levels will be present in most classes. The Instructor is responsible for providing their own music and choreography for each class. Farm Workers (Garden and Vineyard) - Part-time positions.
Part-time positions, working up to 25 hours per week. Work will mainly be in the vegetable garden and the vineyard. Job duties will include, but not limited to sowing seeds; taking care of plants - watering weeding, pruning, feeding and spraying, and harvesting; mowing and weed-eating; and other duties as assigned. Requirements include the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions since work is primarily outside in the garden and vineyards, ability to lift approximately fifty pounds, ability to use standard horticulture tools and mowing equipment. Tutors will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions; facilitate learning as a guide to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner; facilitate an increase and enhancement in student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course of study as presented by the course instructor; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the student's potential for academic progress. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to establish rapport and communicate with students and instructors. Qualifications include: successfully completed the course of study with a grade of "B" or better for which they will be tutoring. Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. Lifeguards - Part-time positions.
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week positions. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in a quick and effective manner; enforce all facility policies, rules and regulations; inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor; and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include: current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid, and American Red Cross CPR/AED; and have a thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
