Adjunct Professor for English - Part-time position(s).

Associate Director of Nursing and Allied Health
- Full-time position.
Redlands Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, 10-month faculty position.  The successful candidate will assist the Dean of Service Development and Allied Health in coordinating the activities of the Nursing and Allied Health Department, as well as teach nursing courses using a team teaching approach.  Additional duties include, but are not limited to, serve as Liaison to clinical agencies, regional and state nursing committees and act on behalf of Nursing and Allied Health in the absence of the Dean; coordinate clinical placement and clinical staffing; assist with specialized accreditation activities and reports; staff Allied Health courses; organize nursing admission and acceptance activities; supervise the systematic program evaluation; assist with nursing advisement; and teach fifteen (15) credit hours per academic year.  Qualifications include:  an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license; equivalent of two years full-time practice as an RN; Master's degree in nursing required; and two years of teaching experience as a full-time faculty member in a nursing program leading to licensure.  To apply:  submit a cover letter to include your teaching philosophy, resume, copies of college transcripts (official will be required if hired), and three references with names, addresses, and phone numbers.  Position is open until filled.

Adjunct Instructor for Physical Science - Part-time position(s).

Adjunct Instructor(s) for Mathematics - Part-time position(s).

SUPPORT

Science Laboratory Technician - Part-time position.
Part-time position working up to 240 hours per fall and spring semester (approximately 15 hrs. per week for both 16 week semesters) and up to 120 hours in the summer semester (approximately 15 hrs. per week for 8 weeks). This position is contingent upon funding, as it is grant based. The Science Department is seeking a laboratory technician to assist in the preparation of standard laboratory materials related to microbiology, biology and chemistry. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with preparing broth cultures, slants, stabs, and agar plates, running the autoclave, glassware clean up and disposal, biohazard waste disposal, maintenance and storage of hazardous compounds, reagent and gel preparation, balance use, pipetting techniques, laboratory clean-up, and storage and maintenance of antibiotics. Training will be provided. Qualifications include: Successful completion of one science laboratory course at the college level preferred. Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Peer Tutor(s) - Part-time position(s).
Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program.  The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Science. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study and learning to enhance academic success, and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff. Zumba Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Zumba Instructor.  The applicant must be able to safely encourage and instruct participants on Zumba routines.  Motivational skills are a must, as a variety of fitness levels will be present in most classes.  The Instructor is responsible for providing their own music and choreography for each class.  Good communication tools are necessary to communicate and properly instruct the class.  Proof of certification is required.  Experience is preferred.  To apply:  submit a cover letter, resume, copies of certifications, and three references with names, addresses, and phone numbers.  Position is open until filled.

Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position.
The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, which may include some evening hours. Responsibilities include opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications include enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Farm Ranch Hand - Part-time position.
Part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week.  Work is at the Royse Ranch and/or Jones Equine Center campus.  Responsibilities include general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of stalls, etc.), general maintenance, painting, mowing, fence building, operating farm machinery and equipment, and other duties as assigned.  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. in the course of their daily tasks.   Applications may be picked up in the Human Resources Office at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036-5304.  Position is open until filled.

Farm Workers (Garden and Vineyard) - Part-time positions.
Part-time positions, working up to 25 hours per week. Work will mainly be in the vegetable garden and the vineyard. Job duties will include, but not limited to sowing seeds; taking care of plants - watering weeding, pruning, feeding and spraying, and harvesting; mowing and weed-eating; and other duties as assigned. Requirements include the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions since work is primarily outside in the garden and vineyards, ability to lift approximately fifty pounds, ability to use standard horticulture tools and mowing equipment. Applicant must have good attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in and agricultural related field desired, experience in viticulture environment preferred, basic understanding and interest in horticulture desired. Peer Tutor(s) - Part-time position(s).
Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week. The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking tutors in the following areas:

Tutors will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions; facilitate learning as a guide to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner; facilitate an increase and enhancement in student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course of study as presented by the course instructor; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the student's potential for academic progress. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to establish rapport and communicate with students and instructors. Qualifications include: successfully completed the course of study with a grade of "B" or better for which they will be tutoring. Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. Lifeguards - Part-time positions.
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week positions. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in a quick and effective manner; enforce all facility policies, rules and regulations; inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor; and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include: current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid, and American Red Cross CPR/AED; and have a thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
