Accreditation Visit February 2011

Redlands Community College underwent a Regional Accreditation visit by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) February 14, 15, and 16.  On the last day The Higher Learning Commission visiting team informed us they will recommend that we receive the maximum ten year accreditation.  We prepared for this visit for some time through a rigorous, on-going Self-Study process involving faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

The result of this process can be viewed in the Self-Study Report, at the top of this page.  Redlands Community College's Self-Study Report provided us with an opportunity to demonstrate our strengths as well as highlight areas for improvement.  The Self-Study Report also served to provide evidence to the HLC that we are meeting the requirements of the Criteria for Accreditation.

The information contained in the links below is designed to assist you in understanding the process of accreditation and how Redlands approached both the Self-Study Process and prepared for the site visit by the HLC Visiting Team.
