Corvette to be Raffled by Redlands Foundation

2009 Z06 CorvetteThe Redlands Community College Foundation is holding a raffle for the chance to win a customized 2009 Z06 Corvette. Proceeds will help launch the college’s eSports program.

“eSports programs are providing great opportunities for students to attend college and become more engaged in student life,” said Jack Bryant, Redlands Community College president. “Colleges across the country are starting eSports programs and giving students the chance to compete nationally and globally.”

Earlier this year, the Foundation was provided a 2009 Z06 Corvette to help raise the funds necessary to get an eSports program off the ground. The 920-horsepower corvette has $33,000 in engine upgrades, including the installation of a super-charged, methanol-injected engine with a Manic dual disc clutch. The car has less than 40,000 actual miles, and the engine has less than 5,000 miles.

“We are excited to offer this beautiful corvette to car enthusiasts and Redlands supporters,” said Brooke Robertson, Foundation president. “More importantly, we look forward to helping the college provide a new and interactive program for the students.”

Raffle tickets are available for a $200 donation to the Foundation. Winner is responsible for all taxes and delivery fees, and must be 18 with a valid driver’s license to participate. For ticket and raffle rule information, please visit www.redlandscc.edu/foundation.
