Face Coverings Required on Campus

Redlands Community College offices are open with classes starting Aug. 17, and beginning Monday, all individuals on campus will be required to wear a face covering.

“We have established guidelines for the use of face coverings for the health and safety of everyone on campus,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “These are very challenging times, and we are implementing these procedure so we can provide services and on-site classes as safely as possible in this situation.”

Acceptable coverings include reusable cloth masks, disposable paper masks and face shields. The face coverings must be worn at all times in public areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, campus vehicles, labs and all other common areas on campus.

The administration has been following CDC guidelines as well as those issued at the local and state levels to implement safety measures on campus. The NJCAA recently announced that cross country will compete this fall, but all other sports will compete later in the year.

“We appreciate the patience and support of our students, faculty and staff as we adapt to the situation,” Bryant said. “This Spring has shown us how quickly circumstances can change, but we look forward to seeing our students in the classroom this Fall.”

Enrollment for the Fall semester is open. Current students in good standing may be able to enroll using the online Enrollment Authorization form. For more information or to enroll, please visit www.redlandscc.edu/enrollment-information.

The Admissions and Advising office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,, and campus is closed on Fridays during the Summer
