Nursing Program Application Deadline for Fall 2021 Extended

Posted: April 16, 2020

During the current healthcare crisis, it has become apparent how vital nurses are to our communities. Redlands Community College’s nursing program has been a leader in equipping hospitals, clinics and medical offices with highly qualified nurses for decades.

With the closure of many offices and services, Redlands has extended the deadline to apply for admission to the highly competitive nursing program for the 2021-2022 school year to Friday, May 1, 2020. Applicants who are unable to complete the application requirements by the new deadline may be considered for conditional acceptance into the program and will be required to complete all the steps by Tuesday, July 30, 2020 by 5 p.m. to maintain full admission, if selected, into the nursing program

“There are a few different steps involved in applying to the nursing program, and we understand that prospective students are juggling many changes with their current course load and other factors in their personal lives,” said Jalelah Abdul-Raheem, department head of the nursing program. “We don’t want this current situation to prevent students from achieving their goal of entering the nursing profession.”

Applicants who need to take placement tests or the TEAS exam should contact the Academic Center for Enhancement at 405.422.6274 or Testing.Center@redlandscc.edu to make arrangements.
