Redlands Community College has received notification from the U.S. Department of Education that our Project AIMS (Academic Initiative to Motivate Students) a Federal TRiO Student Support Services grant, has been renewed through August 2020.
The $1.2 million, five year grant, serves 200 students who meet the criteria of first-generation, low-income, or disabled, providing them services that will increase participants GPA, retention, graduation, and transfer rates.

Redlands Community College students, advisors and administrators participated in the Regional Phi Theta Kappa Convention on April 3-4 at the University of Arkansas at Ft. Smith.
Redlands Students participate in Oklahoma’s Promise Day at State Capitol
Eight Redlands students and their faculty and staff mentors attended the first ever Oklahoma’s Promise Day at the State Capitol. Students representing Redlands included, Keira Auld, Rush Springs; Sidney Carolina, Oklahoma City; Brittany Hammons, Guthrie; Ashley LaGasse, Piedmont; Dylan Olson, Mustang; Kody Silas, Tecumseh; Thomas Van Gundy, El Reno; Destiny Washington, Watonga.

Redlands is proud to announce that two exceptional musicians will be performing a live concert on Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in the Redlands Cultural Center Auditorium. Edgar Cruz and Michael Kelsey are back by popular demand and will be performing an eclectic mix of Contemporary, Classical, Latin and even Progressive/Aggressive acoustic guitar.
Redlands All Nations Living/Learning Community Scholarships
Housing scholarships are available for Redlands Community College Students for the fall and spring semesters through the All Nations Business Institute. Students must be incoming freshmen or sophomores that will be enrolled full-time at Redlands.
According to the Interim Director for the NASNTI grant, Troy Milligan, “Applicants with Native American heritage majoring in business or general studies are given top priority; however, students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.”
Redlands student recognized for top honors at Research Day at the Capitol event
Hollie Skibstead an undergraduate researcher from Redlands Community College is one of twenty-four outstanding undergraduate student researchers representing 18 Oklahoma colleges and universities. Skibstead participated as an undergraduate student intern at the USDA-ARS Center in El Reno, Ok. Her presentation was entitled “The Effects of Land Use and Climate Variability in Reservoir Sedimentation.” Skibstead placed second in Regional University & Community College division.
Redlands to host Adjunct Faculty Job Fair
Redlands Community College is hosting an Adjunct Faculty Job Fair in an effort to find dynamic individuals for open adjunct faculty positions in the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. The adjunct faculty job fair will in the Redlands Student Center on April 25, 2015 with open Registration between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. for all qualified attendees.

Redlands Community College’s Nursing Department Free Health Fair is April 16, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Conference Center of the Ray Porter Building. During the health fair, the Oklahoma Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit will provide the following free screenings including Cholesterol, Glaucoma, Blood Pressure, Bone Density, Blood Sugar, Body Mass Index, Lung Function and Visual.
