Redlands to host Adjunct Faculty Job Fair
Redlands Community College is hosting an Adjunct Faculty Job Fair in an effort to find dynamic individuals for open adjunct faculty positions in the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. The adjunct faculty job fair will in the Redlands Student Center on April 25, 2015 with open Registration between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. for all qualified attendees.

Redlands Community College Hosts Free Health Fair
Redlands Community College’s Nursing Department Free Health Fair is April 16, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Conference Center of the Ray Porter Building. During the health fair, the Oklahoma Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit will provide the following free screenings including Cholesterol, Glaucoma, Blood Pressure, Bone Density, Blood Sugar, Body Mass Index, Lung Function and Visual.
Redlands Women’s Golf Team scores first win of the season
Redlands Cougar Women’s Golf won the Sugar Tree Invitational hosted by University of Texas at Brownsville and Western Texas College Golf teams on March 16 -17 at Sugar Tree Gold Course in Lipan Texas. The Redlands team finished Round 1 with a score of 302 and Round 2 with a score of 307. The team finished 36 strokes ahead of the second place University of Houston-Victoria team.

Redlands student Macie Gillock named a New Century Scholar
Jackson, MS - Macie Gillock a student at Redlands Community College, El Reno Oklahoma, has been named a 2015 New Century Scholar for the state of Oklahoma. Fifty community college students from the United States and American Samoa have been named 2015 New Century Scholars – receiving a total of $100,000 in scholarships. The New Century Scholars Program is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Foundation, Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, Phi Theta Kappa, and the American Association of Community Colleges.
Redlands Community College students selected for state-wide, international study abroad experience
El Reno, OK – Two Redlands Community College students were selected to participate in an innovative cooperative of 14 Oklahoma community colleges to increase awareness of global, community service opportunities.
Hollie Skibstead and Stormy Vaughn will be traveling this summer to the Dominican Republic. They will aid in community-based, service work. The students were selected based on their commitment to academic studies and dedication to community service work.
Redlands Academic Team qualifies for 2015 Intercollegiate Division II Championship
The Redlands Academic Team has qualified to compete against peers at the nation’s top universities including: Yale, Princeton and Cornell after placing fourth in the national community college championship tournament and qualifying for the 2015 Intercollegiate Division II Championships.
Four exceptional Redlands students were recently honored at the state Capitol
Sophomores Macie Gillock, Union City and Emilee Peterson, West Point Nebraska and freshmen Nicho Cabral, Hennessey and Gabriel DeGroot, Piedmont were honored at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
According to President Bryant, “We were very proud to have these students represent Redlands at the Capitol. Their hard work in the classroom and in the community has resulted in these students being selected for two great honors programs. ”
Redlands English Composition II Course Offers Students Innovative Service-Learning Experience
El Reno, Okla. – Redlands Community College is piloting new service-learning programming in spring 2015 beginning with two sections of English Composition II taught for concurrent Redlands students at Mustang High School.
