Retention Specialist - Full-time position(s)

This is a full-time, 12-month, professional staff position with excellent benefits.  Responsibilities include:  Advise and enroll new and returning students, manage early intervention system and work with faculty to provide timely feedback to students about their academic progress. Assist with recruitment events, manage degree completion efforts and coach students through various barriers that are preventing them from progressing towards their degree. Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.  Two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) related experience working with college students, preferably within a community college setting.  The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, with excellent writing and speaking skills.  Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment of constant change and possess effective decision making and problem solving skills.  Customer oriented mindset is a must.  To apply: submit a cover letter, resume, copies of college transcripts, and three references with names, addresses, and phone numbers.
