REDLANDS HOSTS AG INTERSCHOLASTIC COMPETITION

EL RENO, Okla. — Nearly 1,000 Oklahoma high school agricultural students attended the Ag Interscholastic Competition at Redlands Community College on April 18. The students participated in livestock judging, parliamentary procedure, meat judging, land judging, farm business management, agricultural communications, food science, dairy products, HomeSite and an animal science quiz bowl.

Competitions were on the Redlands campus, as well as Royse Ranch and Darlington.

“We definitely couldn’t pull off a contest of this magnitude without the help of the students, faculty, staff and administrative support,” said Annie Pearson, professor of agriculture and coordinator of the competition. American Farmers and Ranchers also helped with the event.
