REDLANDS STUDENT NURSING ASSOCIATION HOSTS WINTER WONDERLAND

EL RENO, Okla. — The holidays are quickly approaching which means Redlands Community College Student Nursing Association will be holding its annual Winter Wonderland. The fundraiser, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Redlands Community College Conference Center, is open to the community.

Proceeds from the event support the organization’s Pinning Ceremony held in conjunction with graduation, but this year, the nursing students are including a toy and donation drive benefitting Helping Hands, a local church that opens its doors to those in need in the community.

“As we have been serving in our community, our nursing students have seen many needs and have a desire to help our neighbors,” said Mikaela Meeks, president of the Student Nursing Association. “While we appreciate the opportunity to raise funds to support the Pinning Ceremony that is so special to nursing graduates, we are pleased that our toy and donation drive will be able to benefit Helping Hands.”

Winter Wonderland will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29 and includes lunch catered by Eischen’s, a silent auction, a live baked goods auction, door prize and a visit from Santa. Tickets are $10 when purchased by Nov. 17 and $15 after that date. To purchase tickets, please contact Mikaela Meeks, 405.422.1497, or Mary Seurer, 405.422.1498 or via email at Winter.Wonderland@redlandscc.edu.
