Few colleges the size of Redlands have such a wide range of academic programs — not to mention the levels of excellence. Redlands houses a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the largest Honors Society for two-year colleges.

Undergraduates at Redlands get to be involved in conducting research. Plus, all classes are taught by the full professor: there are no graduate-student teachers.

Paying for Redlands

A college education at Redlands costs less than the Oklahoma state average for public institutions (based on cost per credit hour). For students planning to attain a four-year degree, completing the first two at Redlands can save you thousands.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE

EL RENO, Okla. — Applications are now available online for tuition waivers and scholarships. Tuition waiver scholarships range from $250 to $1,000 for each academic year, while the Redlands Community College Foundation offers 34 scholarship programs.

“We are pleased to be able to offer students a way to make a college education more affordable,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “Financial aid is necessary for so many students, and these tuition waivers and foundation scholarships help fill the financial gap for Redlands students.”

Tuition waiver scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified applicants. Applications are due February 1, and recipients will be notified by mid-March.

A list of foundations scholarships and their criteria are available online. Foundation scholarship applications are also due February 1, and recipients will be notified in April. However, applications for nursing scholarships are due May 31, and notifications are sent in June.
