ANBI at a Glance

The All Nations Business Institute (ANBI) is a bridge program designed to retain, graduate, and increase the number of Native American and other underserved students who wish to pursue either an Associate in Arts (AA) in Business Administration or an Associate in Applied Sciences (AAS) in Business Administration Technology. The ANBI offers programs that meet current industry standards and continues to expand the number of transfer agreements currently held with four-year institutions within the State of Oklahoma.

The project will accommodate the following services:

  • Tutoring services specific to our course-content
  • Computer labs
  • Student Development Specialist whose key focus is serving our Native American and other underserved students

The ANBI will coordinate and manage a new program called "The All Nations Student Symposium" which will be designed to assist early-entry Native American and other underserved students in their preparation for college life.

Goal 1: Increase the enrollment, retention, and graduation rates of underrepresented students at Redlands by 20% by fall 2015.

Background Information

The ANBI will integrate curriculum enhancement, student success strategies, and other student engagement opportunities in order to strengthen Redlands capacity to assist our Native American and other underserved students to succeed academically. This design addresses the target population's needs by significantly extending Redlands engagement with at-risk students participating in the ANBI. Our students will receive exemplary academic instruction and have immediate access to academic advising and other student support services; all of which ameliorate risk factors for dropping out of college. Through our efforts we intend to achieve the following goals:

Goal 2: Consolidate at least 85% of student-related data into a single system that is user-friendly and accessible to Administrators, Faculty, and Student Services by fall 2015.
