Redlands has many opportunities for students and the community to stay fit. We work hard to provide an experience that generates results. We have friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable trainers, and a judgement-free zone. We are here to help you realize, set and achieve your wellness goals. Current Classes Offered
Chair Yoga
A gentle yoga practice that accommodates beginners and intermediate level students.
This practice uses the chair for some but not all of the poses. The class promotes
balance, posture and good stretching to maximize overall well being. Instructor: Shannon Dodd

Our certified personal trainer, Anna Rinehart, is ready to help you develop a workout

Silver Sneakers
Our staff loves to help senior adults stay active and fit. We have partnered with the national Silver Sneakers program to provide classes, wellness options and other resources on campus. Register for the Silver Sneakers program and gain access to a comprehensive, easy-to-use wellness resource, nutrition and fitness plans, exercise video demonstrations, advice for experts, and health-related articles and recipes. The program includes instructor-led exercise classes twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., optional walking exercises three times a week and fun group outings. (Starting for the Spring Semester on January 7)

We offer a state-of-the-art facility with the staff and equipment available to help you meet your fitness goals. The fitness center includes various fitness equipment, weights and locker rooms. A racquetball court is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–7 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
The Fitness Center is closed when the campus is closed effective January 3, 2022. (see Academic Calendar)

April 18: Good Friday

Anna Rinehart
M.S., R.D., NCSF Personal Trainer

Passionate for promoting health and fitness, Anna Rinehart is a member of the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF) as both a Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Specialist. She practiced as a registered dietitian for 15 years prior to her certifications by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in health and exercise from the University of Oklahoma. She is a certified Silver Sneakers Instructor and Redlands personal trainer instructor along with coordinator of the Fitness for Life program and wellness/longevity classes.
