International Admissions

Welcome! We are excited that you are considering studying in Oklahoma! Redlands is a friendly community that will be deeply invested in your success. Redlands is located near Oklahoma City which has an active downtown scene and hosts an international airport for easy travel.

Redlands Community College is authorized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to enroll nonimmigrant students under the F-1 visa classification. We are unable to issue Form I-20 or accept students on any other visa type for international student admission. Redlands Community College will issue a Form I-20 only after the student has met all conditions required for admission.

Step-by-Step Application

You must read the following information and submit all the required documents to be considered for admission at Redlands. If you do not submit all documentation, your application will not be processed.

Application Deadlines

Make sure you plan ahead and have everything ready to apply by these deadlines for the semester you would like to start attending:

  • Fall Admissions: June 1st
  • Spring Admissions: October 1st
  • Summer Admissions: Unavailable

Documents Needed to Apply


High School Transcripts
  • High school transcripts should reflect the date that all secondary school requirements were met.
  • A certified English translation must be attached if the transcript is not printed in English.
Financial Information
  • Bank Statement
    A bank statement indicating the U.S. dollar amount available. The dollar amount available should be greater $18,900 or greater. The bank statement should be in either the name of the student or the student’s sponsor. Bank statements must be stamped and signed by a bank or government official.
Proof of English Language Skills
  • TOEFL: Score of 500 or higher on the paper-based test, 61 or higher on the internet-based exam, or a minimum of 173 on the computer-based exam.
  • IELTS: 5.5 or higher.
  • PTE Academic score of at least 44.
  • iTEP Academic score of at least 3.5.
  • Official college transcript reflecting 24 completed college hours of accredited college work (must be in “good standing”) at a college or university in the United States.
  • Official U.S. high school transcript, with date of graduation, which indicates that all curricular requirements have been met. A list of curricular requirements is available from the Admissions Office.
Identification
  • Copy of valid passport

International Transfer Students

  • Official copies of all college transcripts. International colleges should be evaluated by WES and the evaluation provided with the official transcript.
  • Copy of Form I-94
  • I-20 from the last school you attended.
  • A letter from your current institution stating that you are in good academic and financial standing and would be eligible to return to the school.

Part-Time and Summer International Students

  • Submit an Application of Admission.
  • Submit a current official Letter of Good Standing, each semester, from the parent institution. This letter must reflect full-time enrollment.
  • Submit a current official transcript from the parent institution.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I complete the Application?  

As part of submitting an Application for Admission to Redlands Community College, you created an Admissions Portal to guide you through the process. Depending on your student characteristics, you will be prompted by email to submit additional documents supporting your Application for Admission. Some of these might include an official transcript (from College or High School) or an Enrollment Authorization Form (for Concurrent Students), as examples. We encourage you to login to your Admissions Portal to review your progress.  

I’ve been accepted. What do I do next?  

It is important to remember that when you are accepted, you are issued a Redlands Community College email account. ALL OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS WILL COME TO YOU THROUGH THIS ACCOUNT. You will be notified of this account to the email from which you submitted your application. Once you receive your Redlands email, you will be contacted by your Academic Advisor regarding your next steps. Check your Redlands Email Account often. Communications will come to you through this account.  

But what are some of these next steps?  

Once you’ve activated your email, you will be contacted by your Academic Advisor to schedule an appointment to discuss registration, enrollment, scheduling a Campus Tour, getting your parking pass, getting your campus ID, and scheduling orientation, among others.
