College Classes for Current High School Students

Concurrent enrollment is open to qualified high school juniors and seniors. 

TO BE ADMITTED:

  • You must have a minimum 19 ACT/Pre-ACT Composite OR 990 SAT/PSAT Composite OR 3.0 unweighted high school GPA.
    • Homeschooled students and students from unaccredited high schools must complete enough high school course work to be equivalent to an individual who is classified as a junior or senior at an accredited high school and meet the applicable criterion.
  • Complete the Admittance Check to see if you meet admission requirements.

TO BE ELIGIBLE for desired course(s):

  • 19 in the appropriate subject area on the ACT/Pre-ACT or
  • 510 in the appropriate subject area on the SAT/PSAT or
  • At least 2 years and 3.0 high school GPA in subject area or
  • Students without a 19 or 510 in the appropriate subject area or at least 2 years and 3.0 high school GPA in subject area must take the placement test to enroll in a concurrent course. To take the test, please schedule an exam time.
    • Homeschool or unacredited high school students must use ACT or Sat composite scores to be eligible to apply - GPA scores are ineligible to be used for Homeschool or unaccredited high school students.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I complete the Application?  

As part of submitting an Application for Admission to Redlands Community College, you created an Admissions Portal to guide you through the process. Depending on your student characteristics, you will be prompted by email to submit additional documents supporting your Application for Admission. Some of these might include an official transcript (from College or High School) or an Enrollment Authorization Form (for Concurrent Students), as examples. We encourage you to login to your Admissions Portal to review your progress.  

I’ve been accepted. What do I do next?  

It is important to remember that when you are accepted, you are issued a Redlands Community College email account. ALL OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS WILL COME TO YOU THROUGH THIS ACCOUNT. You will be notified of this account to the email from which you submitted your application. Once you receive your Redlands email, you will be contacted by your Academic Advisor regarding your next steps. Check your Redlands Email Account often. Communications will come to you through this account.  

But what are some of these next steps?  

Once you’ve activated your email, you will be contacted by your Academic Advisor to schedule an appointment to discuss registration, enrollment, scheduling a Campus Tour, getting your parking pass, getting your campus ID, and scheduling orientation, among others.
