Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Administrative and Data Entry Assistant for the Director of the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant.  This is a full-time, 12-month, federally funded grant position with excellent benefits.  The grant is a new 5-year funded grant which started October 1, 2015.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to:  prepare, assemble, and distribute correspondence accordingly; maintain phone contacts and records for both incoming and outgoing calls; coordinate meetings, calendar and travel arrangements for the NASNTI STEM (Part A) staff and groups traveling with or for the Director; serve as primary point of contact for the office; prepare, monitor, and process fiscal purchase requests and accounts payable for the grant’s budget and expenditure line item activities; establish and maintain files; process all incoming mail, including receipt of, opening, and forwarding to the appropriate NASNTI STEM (Part A) staff; monitor and coordinate time schedules and preparation and mailing of reports; order and maintain an inventory of office supplies and equipment for the office and program sites; and assume other special duties and assignments as assigned by the Director.  Requirements include:  Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; budget experience required; proficiency in Microsoft Office required; excellent oral and written skills required; candidate must be dependable, punctual, organized and detail-oriented.  Experience with federal grants and three to five years documented experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred. Upward Bound Summer Tutors - Part-time position(s)

This federally funded program needs tutors in the areas of Math, Science, and other areas as needed. Positions run from May 30 through July 2, 2020. Applicant must be a current college student or recent college graduate with a minimum of 2.75 GPA, demonstrate leadership and dependability, and have good moral standards. Responsibilities include assisting TRIO Upward Bound staff and students, supporting all program policies, and maintaining accurate records. Human Resources Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to scan and archive old personnel and payroll files; respond to staff and public inquiries; process daily mail; maintain leave and compensatory time records for all employees; process applications, schedule interviews for vacant positions and mail letters to applicants that were not hired for the position; maintain Blackboard classroom for Redlands Safety Training, monitor NIMS and safety training completions, and notify employees and supervisors when training is delinquent; maintain personnel files for all employees; assist in producing reports; prepare Adjunct and Overload contracts; audit benefit claims; and process and enter new employees into POISE software.  Qualifications include High School diploma or GED; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; excellent people skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with faculty, staff and students; strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing work environment; and be able to work a flexible schedule when needed.  To apply:  submit a cover letter, resume, and three references with names, addresses and phone numbers. Fitness Center Worker - Part-time position(s)

Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week.  Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer - Part-time position(s)

This is a part-time, 10 month position. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer. The candidate will be responsible in helping with team practices, transportation, budget management, scheduling, recruiting, and other duties as assigned.  Qualifications include:  Bachelor's degree required and have significant playing experience at the collegiate level. Candidate must also be authorized to work in the United States as a pre-condition of employment. Previous coaching experience at the youth, high school, or collegiate level is preferred. General Farm Hand I - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s), working up to 20 hours per week. Livestock work is mainly with dairy and meat goats. Duties will include attending to live animals, which includes feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Other duties may include maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to do general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas; be able to operate tractors, mowers, and string trimmers; and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Additionally, applicants must be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; be able to tolerate animal dander; and be able to work a highly flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Athletics Game Day Workers - Part-time position(s)

Part-time, temporary position, working games as scheduled for multiple positions, including time/score keeper, bookkeeper, and announcer.  Pay is $25.00 per game. Positions run from late August until May.  Responsibilities for time/score keeper include ability to run a scoreboard clock, and/or a shot clock, and input scores into the scoreboard for soccer, basketball, or baseball games. Responsibilities for bookkeepers include tracking individual player statistics, the number of penalties or fouls each player receives, and alerting an official when a player receives his last permissible foul or penalty.  Prior experience is required for the bookkeeping position.  Responsibilities for the announcer include introducing teams and players, initiating the pledge/national anthem, providing the audience with play by play commentary on action happening in the game, and cueing music or other talent before and/or during the game breaks. Employees will be required to arrive prior to the start of the games, and remain after the games have ended to assist with equipment setup and take-down.  Other duties include: following all facility policies, rules and regulations; inspecting and reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor; and other duties as assigned.  Minimum qualifications: knowledge and/or past experience with the sport being played.  Applications may be picked up from the Human Resources Department at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK 73036. Peer Tutor for NASNTI STEM - Part-time position(s)

Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program.  The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Science.  Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study and learning to enhance academic success, and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study.  A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff.  Qualifications include:  a grade of “B” or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided and enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College is preferred, though students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered.  Applications may be picked up from the Human Resources Department at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036.  Position(s) are open until filled.
