Professor of Nursing - Full-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor of Nursing position in the Nursing Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership Nursing along with an assigned clinical group; participate in assigned simulation times; work to provide oversight in collaboration with team members within clinical, laboratory, classroom settings; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; report to the Nursing Department Head and Team Lead; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole; maintain regular office hours and participate as a faculty coach.  Candidates are expect to serve on institutional committees, attend scheduled in-services, and attend professional development programs. Qualifications include: a Master’s degree in Nursing preferred and Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required, prior teaching experience is preferred. Unencumbered Oklahoma RN license and equivalent of two years full-time practice as an RN. Position reports to Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. The salary range for this position is $48,000-$53,500.
