Redlands Community College is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative
Assistant to support the Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. This full-time
position plays a critical role in managing the daily operations of a fast-paced academic
department, and supporting nursing and allied health faculty, students, and program
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Department Head and program faculty
Coordinate meetings, travel, events, and maintain department calendars
Track and reconcile departmental budget; process purchase orders and P-card transactions
Handle confidential personnel and student information in compliance with FERPA
Maintain student records and files for program accreditation and admissions
Assist with the organization of data and reports for internal and external reporting
Support student success efforts through scheduling, referrals, and communication
Assist with student records for the admissions process
Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the department and college
Minimum Qualifications:
Two or more years of full-time work experience in a secretarial, administrative, or
banking role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Internet and email proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Experience in a healthcare, nursing, or academic setting
Special Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work at a computer
for long durations
Willingness to attend institutional events, in-service trainings, and participate
in college committees

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
