Redlands Community College is seeking motivated and student-focused Individuals to
apply for the Upward Bound Summer Tutor position. This federally funded TRIO program
needs tutors in the areas of Math, Science, and other areas as needed. Positions
run from May through July 2026.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist TRIO Upward Bound staff and students with daily program activities
Provide academic support to Upward Bound participants
Uphold all program policies and expectations
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Qualifications:
Current college student or recent college graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.75
Demonstrate leadership, reliability, and commitment to student success
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and engage positively with high school
students
Preference will be given to those with similar background as program participants

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
