Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for adjunct teaching
and clinical positions in Nursing. This is a part-time/temporary adjunct faculty position.
Position reports to the Department Head. This is a continuous vacancy announcement
that is filled on a “need only” basis. All applications are kept on file and when
courses become available applicants will be notified. Work may be performed online
or in an office and classroom environment with a significant amount of public contact,
in person, by telephone, via email, and various communication platforms.
Responsibilities include: teaching assigned classes and/or clinical groups, participate in assigned simulation
times, or teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including
Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership
Nursing; maintain communication with students and faculty weekly and as needed to
report student progress; support the integrity of the curricula with the Department
Head; follow Redlands Community College official course calendar, observing holiday
breaks, and start and stop times; assess and encourage student achievement per student
learning objectives; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students
individually and in groups; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the
College as a whole.
Qualifications include: Master's degree in nursing preferred and Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required. Must
be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clear, grammatically correct English.
Must be demonstrably proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel),
as well as email and internet. Experience in various teaching delivery formats is
preferred.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
