Men's Head Coach
Earnest Crumbley is beginning his first season as the head coach with the Redlands men's basketball program. Crumbley previously coached at Admiral Farrugut Acadamy, Florida Atlantic University and the University of North Florida.
Crumbley graduated from FAU with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2004 and played internationally in Mexico for a year following the completion of his collegiate career - where he played in each of the Owls' 118 games during his time on campus. The St. Petersburg, Fla., native enjoyed a standout career at FAU, finishing as the school's all-time leading scorer (1,559 points) while becoming only the fourth player in program history to eclipse 1,000 points in a career. He also holds the school records for assists in a career (505), 3-pointers made (286) and steals (181). Crumbley ranked eighth in assists and 17th in scoring in the Atlantic Sun Conference record books at the conclusion of his career.
Men's Assistant Coach
Craig Wrice is starting his third year at Redlands. He assists the men's basketball team with skill development and helps strengthen and condition players.
Coach Wrice is from Midwest City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Midwest City High School where he played basketball for two years. In his 2001-02 season, his team was ranked number one in the nation. In the two years Wrice played basketball at Midwest City, the men's basketball team was never ranked less than number five in the nation. Wrice played with Sheldon Williams of the Denver Nuggets and Darnell Jackson of the Sacramento Kings while at Midwest City.
Coach Wrice began his collegiate basketball career at the University of Central Oklahoma where he played for two years. He averaged 9.3 points, 6.2 steals and over 37 starts in two seasons. While at UCO, Wrice earned Co-Freshman Defensive Player of the Year in the Long Star North Division Conference.
Coach Wrice finished his collegiate basketball career at Texas Wesleyan, averaging 5.4 points and 9.1 assists per game.
Coach Wrice has his Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications and a minor degree in Kinesiology. In addition to being an assistant basketball coach for the Cougars, Wrice also runs a small business as a personal trainer in Oklahoma City.
Men's Assistant Coach
Tyler Brown starts his third year back at Redlands and 8th overall year in the RCC program. The Redlands alum brings over 10 years of coaching experience, energy, and an attention to detail to the staff.
Brown came to Redlands from Western Oklahoma State. In his one season with the Pioneers he helped guide them to a school record 24 wins, a #14 final ranking, and a share of the Bi State West title. Prior to Western, Brown spent 3 seasons at Redlands where he helped guide the Cougars to a 78-18 record, 11 weeks ranked at #1, 2 Region II Runners Up, and 1 Bi State West title. Prior to RCC, Brown spent 1 season at the University of Oklahoma where he helped the Sooners win a Big 12 regular season championship and garner a #4 seed in the NCAA tournament. Before OU, Brown spent 2 seasons on staff for the Redlands Cougars where he helped them go 67-5, win 2 Bi State West titles, make 2 National Tournaments, win 2 Region II Tournaments, maintain a ranking in the top 5 nationally for both years (including a #1 ranking) and 1 National Runners- Up.
Brown graduated with a degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University and also holds an Associate's degree from Redlands Community College. He lives in El Reno with his wife Alexis, their 3 kids: Kobe, Kyera, Keaton, and their 2 Boxers: Manny and Lucy.
