Scotti Charmasson is the Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer Lab Coordinator for Redlands Community College.  She grew up in rural Missouri on a small cattle ranch.  Scotti judged livestock for Northwest Missouri State University before transferring to Oklahoma State University where she earned her B.S. in Animal Science.  After graduating from OSU, she entered the graduate program at Missouri State University where she earned her M.N.A.S.  During her graduate career, she studied the reproductive cycles of Grand Cayman Blue Iguanas and traveled around the U.S. to assist in artificially inseminating elephants.  Scotti stayed at MSU after earning her M.N.A.S. and worked as a Junior Research Scientist in the Agriculture Department's Reproductive Biology Lab.  At RCC Scotti helps coordinate the A.I. and E.T. Lab and also teaches the Anatomy and Physiology of Reproduction class.  She enjoys assisting with various workshops and activities that are hosted by the Agriculture Department.
