About Dan Biggs

Dan Biggs earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a Mathematics major and a Computer Science minor from Southern Nazarene University.  Next, he earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences with an emphasis in Statistics from the University of Central Oklahoma.  He then decided to pursue his Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics and Probability Theory at Ohio State University.

Prior to completing his doctorate degree, Dan started his teaching career as a part-time mathematics and statistics instructor at Lakeland Community College.  After moving back to Oklahoma, he then worked as an adjunct professor at several institutions of higher education, including Redlands.  He then spent time as a non-tenure track lecturer at UCO before being hired as a tenure track instructor at OSU-OKC.  After his most recent teaching job as a non-tenure track assistant professor at OCU, Dan joined Redlands Community College full-time as a tenure track professor.

Dan has enjoyed mathematics his whole life and has taught many different college math and stats courses throughout his career.  Outside of the classroom, he enjoys watching college football, playing video games, and traveling.
