Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct teaching
position in Criminal Justice. This part-time, temporary faculty position reports to
the Department Head.
This is a continuous vacancy announcement, filled on an as-needed basis. Applications

may be performed online or in an office/classroom environment with significant public
interaction—in person, by phone, via email, and through various communication platforms.
Responsibilities:
Teach assigned classes.
Support the curricular integrity in collaboration with the Department Head.
Follow Redlands Community College’s official course calendar, observing holiday breaks
and designated start/stop times.
Assess and encourage student achievement per student learning objectives.
Interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students both individually and
in groups.
Promote the mission of the Department as well as the College as a whole.
Qualifications Required:
Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a minimum of
18 graduate hours in the discipline (required).
Oklahoma residency (required).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with clear, grammatically correct English.
Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), email, and
internet use.
Qualifications Preferred:
Prior teaching experience (preferred).
Experience in various teaching delivery formats (preferred).

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
