Redlands Community College is seeking energetic, motivated and supportive individuals
to join our team as a Group Exercise Instructor. This part-time role offers $20.00
per hour and provides an opportunity to work 10-15 hours per week, while making a
positive impact on the health and wellness of our campus and community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fitness shift leadership — Perform all duties of a fitness attendant and instruct
Wellness Classes
Team communication — Maintain clear communication with the Fitness Coordinator and
Athletic Director
Cleaning oversight — Verify that staff complete and document all assigned cleaning
tasks
Shift coverage coordination — Respond promptly to texts and help ensure all shifts
are covered
Equipment inspections — Inspect equipment, document issues, post “Out of Order” signs
on any and all malfunctioning equipment, and notify leadership as needed
Qualifications include:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic
Reliable
Strong social and customer service skills
Ability to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to handle emergency situations
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Group Fitness or Silver Sneakers Certification
CPR Certification

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
