Freshman Enrollment Events Scheduled

New students can easily navigate the enrollment process with assistance from Redlands Community College staff during a freshman enrollment event. Sessions will be held in the Redlands Conference Center April 11 at 1 p.m. or 5 p.m., and April 30 at 9 a.m.

The freshman enrollment events allow high school seniors and new students to enroll in Fall classes and give them an opportunity to visit with advisors, check financial aid status, sign up for campus housing, get a student ID, and learn about campus clubs and organizations.

“Starting college can be scary, so our staff wants to make the process as easy as we can,” said Tricia Hobson, executive director of Student Services. “Our academic advisors are ready to sit down with students to figure out a schedule that works best for them, whether that’s on campus or online.”

Students will also have the chance to win great prizes, including tuition waivers ranging from $250 to $1,000, a free textbook, a backpack of supplies and a Redlands swag bag.

Students must register online for one of the events at www.redlandscc.edu/events.

Enrollment is currently open for all other students, and advisors are available to assist current students as well as non-traditional students who are returning to college or enrolling for the first time. The Admissions and Advising Office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
