Undergraduates at Redlands get to be involved in conducting research. Plus, all classes are taught by the full professor: there are no graduate-student teachers.

Paying for Redlands

A college education at Redlands costs less than the Oklahoma state average for public institutions (based on cost per credit hour). For students planning to attain a four-year degree, completing the first two at Redlands can save you thousands.

Figuring out the process of paying for college can be intimidating, especially in households where parents haven't gone themselves. We make it easy.

Dr. Juanita Krittenbrink, a native of Okarche, is beginning her first full term on the Redlands Community College Board of Regents. She was appointed by the Governor in 2015 to fill a vacant seat and was recently reappointed to serve until April 2025.

“We are excited to continue working with Regent Krittenbrink. She has been a tremendous asset to our board and our institution,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “Her lifelong commitment to education and her knowledge of Redlands and our service area will be invaluable as we work through this period of proposed restructuring in the higher education system.”

Regent Krittenbrink, previously known as Dr. K by her students and colleagues, is a longtime advocate for Redlands Community College. Before retiring from Redlands in 2012, she served as the Division Director for Liberal Studies and Management Sciences for 11 years. Previous to her administrative experience, she was an adjunct instructor and later a full-time professor of English, speech and humanities.

Board Chairman Richard Ruhl, “It has been an honor to serve with Dr. Krittenbrink for the past several years. She brings such energy and passion to our discussions, and her experience in higher education has provided valuable insight in many areas.”

In addition to her career in higher education, Regent Krittenbrink serves on the Board of Russell Murray Hospice, as a Co-Coordinator for Leadership El Reno, as an officer of Apron Annie’s HCE Organization while being very active at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Regent Krittenbrink’s higher education experience is extensive. She is an inductee in the Oklahoma Association of Community College’s Hall of Fame, a Recipient of the Great Ideas for Teaching (G.I.F.T.) Award, and was recognized as Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

As an Academic Division Director, Krittenbrink was honored in the Phi Theta Kappa’s Distinguished Administrator Program. She has also been recognized as an exceptional educator in local, regional and national awards from the Redlands Aggie Club, OACC’s Global Education Consortium as well as the National Institute for Staff & Organizational Development.
