Redlands Community College recently celebrated the class of 2026 with the graduation of nearly 265 students during its Spring commencement ceremony. Nursing graduates were honored during a pinning ceremony prior to commencement exercises.
"This graduating class exemplifies perseverance and academic excellence, setting a strong foundation for their future," said Redlands President Jena Marr. "The accomplishments we celebrate during commencement reflect not only individual determination but also the supportive community that makes Redlands such a transformative place to learn and grow."
Redlands’ commencement ceremony recognized the graduates who have earned degrees that have prepared them to continue their education at a four-year university or begin making an impact in the workforce. Over 50 of the students graduated with more than one degree or certificate. Graduates received associate degrees in Arts, Applied Science and Science, as well as Certificates in areas such as Artificial Insemination in Livestock, Athletic Trainer, Child Development, Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement, Enterprise Development, Film and Video Production and Human/Social Services Assistant.
Carter Taylor, from Binger, earned an Associate in Arts degree and plans to build a long-term career in the pipeline industry with the hands-on skills, responsibility and confidence his education at Redlands provided him.
“Redlands is supportive and gives students real-world experience that helps prepare them for a career,” Taylor said. “Balancing work and school was stressful at times, but I stayed focused on my career goals, and supportive instructors and good communication helped me stay on track.”

Several students were also recognized during the ceremony for their academic achievements. President’s Award winners are graduates who have the highest cumulative grade point average, and this year’s recipients were Bridger Arrington, Mulhall; Laurel Christopher, Cleveland, Ga.; Kennedy Clark, Minco; Kaylee Eaton, Troy, Texas; Hunter Hines, Tuttle; Emma Ketter, El Reno; LilyAnne Seewald, El Reno; Cameron Spaulding, Piedmont; Carter Taylor, Binger; and Kari Teel, Pocasset.
Honors graduates who were recognized for completing 15 credit hours of Honors work were Laurel Christopher, Cleveland, Ga.; Kennedy Clark, Minco; and Payton Rodgers, Savannah, Mo.
Marr added, “At Redlands, we're committed to creating pathways to success, whether our students are entering the workforce immediately or continuing their educational journey at four-year institutions. I am immensely proud of each one of these graduates who are stepping into a brighter future.”
