Applications are available online for tuition waivers and scholarships. Tuition waiver scholarships range from $250 to $1,000 for each academic year, while the Redlands Community College Foundation offers nearly 40 scholarships.
“We are pleased to be able to offer students a way to make a college education more affordable,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “Financial aid is necessary for so many students, and these tuition waivers and foundation scholarships help fill the financial gap for Redlands students.”
The foundation offers a variety of scholarships, including awards designated for graduates of Calumet, Okarche and El Reno; scholarships for specific areas of study; and other more general scholarships.
A list of foundation scholarships and their criteria is available online. Most foundation scholarship applications are due February 1, and recipients will be notified in April. However, applications for nursing scholarships are due May 31, and notifications are sent in June.
Tuition waiver scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified applicants. Applications are also due February 1, and recipients will be notified by mid-March.
