Assistant Coach for Baseball - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach for Baseball. Advising Specialist - Part-time position(s)

This is a part-time, 12-month, support staff position. Position reports to the Executive Director of Student Services. Responsibilities include: Provide academic advising and specialized retention services to targeted groups as well as the general population of students enrolled in various education programs, including transfer and vocational training programs; develop and implement best practices on issues pertaining to student academic advisement, student retention and student success; support the Retention Specialist with the early alert retention system; and assist with International Student Admissions at the college. This position will provide over-all support in the Admissions and Advising office. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) related experience working with college students, preferably within a community college setting. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, with excellent writing and speaking skills. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment of constant change and possess effective decision making and problem solving skills. Customer oriented mindset is a must. Custodian - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking to hire a part time custodian working up to 20 hours per week.  This position will work late afternoons and evenings Monday-Thursday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Responsibilities include sanitizing all touch surfaces and areas including classrooms, common areas, railings and other heavily trafficked areas, observing and reporting any maintenance or safety issues that may arise, using computer to access e-mail to receive work instructions, as well as other administrative information, and other duties as assigned.  Position requires evening hours.  Qualifications include:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Applications may be picked up in the Human Resources Department at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036.  Position open until filled.

Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. This position reports directly to the Head Coach for Men's Basketball and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting - Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games or practices. Go to showcases in Oklahoma and Out-of-State. 2) Academic Coordinator - responsible for routine Grade Checks, TeamSynced and Study Hall reports. 3) Scouting opponents. 4) Assist with Practice Design and implementation. 5) Game Day - Supervise game stats, coordinate filming and streaming games, pre-game roster certification, post-game equipment and gear verification. 6) Social Media updates. Upward Bound Tutor - Part-time position(s)

This position is located in Calumet, Oklahoma. The federally funded Upward Bound program is seeking an individual to serve as a tutor in the areas of Math, Science, and English. The position runs during the academic year only, August-May. The position is one hour a week at Calumet High School. Applicant must be or have been a certified teacher in the state of Oklahoma, demonstrate leadership and dependability, and have good moral standards. Responsibilities include assisting TRIO Upward Bound students in all subject areas, supporting all program policies, and maintaining accurate records. Group Exercise Instructor(s) - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is looking for part-time Group Exercise Instructor(s). The position is under the supervision of the Wellness Class and Fitness for Life Coordinator. The applicant must have an individual or group type exercise certification and have experience in group exercise course(s) being taught. Current CPR certification is also required for the position. The applicant must provide well designed programs while monitoring and educating patrons on fitness and safety. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institution (NASNTI) Part F Grant is seeking an Academic Support Coach for Mathematics, Science, and/or Writing. Responsibilities of the Academic Support Coach include: provide and schedule individual and small group strategy sessions in approved subjects; create educational materials to demonstrate academic strategies to provide academic support; facilitate learning as a guide to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner; facilitate an increase and enhancement in student mastery of concepts or applications; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the student's potential; promote high standards for academic success and behavior and continually encourage students to meet them; create and offer academic support workshops both online and in-person; develop supplemental educational materials to enhance academic outcomes; and work with various departments, faculty and staff on campus to provide positive academic enrichment. The Academic Support Coach must also demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate well with students and instructors. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in the content area or a related subject area.  Previous teaching experience and experience working with under served populations is preferred. Fitness Center Workers - Part-time position(s)

Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week.  Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. Peer Tutor for ACE - Part-time position(s)

Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week. The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking tutors in the following areas:

Tutors will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions; facilitate learning as a guide to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner; facilitate an increase and enhancement in student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course of study as presented by the course instructor; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the student's potential for academic progress. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to establish rapport and communicate with students and instructors. Qualifications include: successfully completed the course of study with a grade of "B" or better for which they will be tutoring. Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. General Farm Hand I - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s), working up to 20 hours per week. Livestock work is mainly with dairy and meat goats. Duties will include attending to live animals, which includes feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Other duties may include maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to do general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas; be able to operate tractors, mowers, and string trimmers; and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Additionally, applicants must be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; be able to tolerate animal dander; and be able to work a highly flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
