Redlands Recognizes Outstanding Employees

Senior leadership at Redlands Community College celebrates the outstanding achievements of the college’s Fall honorees by hosting a congratulatory lunch. Six members of the Redlands team were named Outstanding Faculty and Staff by the college’s Faculty Senate, Staff Association and administration. 

In recognition of their dedication, expertise and commitment to excellence, several members of the Redlands Community College faculty and staff have been honored as Outstanding Faculty and Staff by their colleagues.

“We have incredible faculty and staff, so I am excited that we’re launching this new opportunity to highlight outstanding individuals each Fall and Spring,” said Redlands President Jena Marr. “We are immensely proud of our faculty and staff, and their tireless efforts, dedication, and passion for education have not only enriched our college community but have also had a profound and positive impact on the lives of our students.”

Faculty honored for the Fall semester are history instructor Erin Karl, math instructor Lisa Kastl and political science instructor and Academic Team Coach Cherry Rain. Outstanding staff members are Richard Buchholz, director of the Physical Plant; Kacey Daniels, director of Upward Bound; and Tori Davis, student engagement specialist and budget coordinator of TRIO Student Support Services.

Faculty and staff were nominated and selected by members of the college’s Faculty Senate, Staff Association and senior administration.
