Food Pantry Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking a Food Pantry Assistant. This is a part-time position, working 20-25 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Maintaining the system for managing and tracking food as it comes to the pantry and goes out to the Redlands student community; assessing current volunteer systems/engagement and creating processes to recruit volunteers and expand operational hours, collecting data to improve food pantry efficiency and effectiveness, and ensuring the Food Pantry is stocked and clean for student use. Professor of Computer Science - Full-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a full-time Professor of Computer Science position. This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month position with excellent benefits. Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position(s)

The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, which may include some evening hours. Responsibilities include: opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Farm Hand at Darlington - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s), working up to 25 hours per week. Livestock work is mainly with meat goats. Responsibilities include: Attending to live animals, which includes feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Other duties may include landscaping and maintenance on the Darlington campus, maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to do general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas; be able to operate tractors, mowers, and string trimmers; and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Additionally, applicants must be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; be able to tolerate animal dander; and be able to work a highly flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a part-time position for a federally-funded grant program; reporting to the Project Director for Title IV Student Support Services Grant.  This individual will be responsible for providing for record keeping, correspondence, and maintenance of the participant database and report preparation.  Additionally, clerical duties such as preparing correspondence to students, greet and assist program participants, monitor project inventories and purchasing, arrange staff and participant travel, prepare purchase orders and work with college business office to reconcile all budget accounts at least monthly.  Qualifications:  Associate degree or higher preferred or a high school diploma with at least three years clerical experience; strong oral and written communication skills including appropriate use of grammar, spelling, punctuation and editing skills, demonstrated ability to maintain student databases, and sensitive to the needs of economically disadvantaged students and a background similar to that of the SSS participants. Peer Tutor(s) for NASNTI STEM - Part-time position(s)

Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Math and Science. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study, learning to enhance academic success and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. Learning Community Coordinator - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates for a half-time/12-month Learning Community Coordinator as part of a 5-year grant focused on STEM/Agricultural Sustainability and Technology (Native American Service Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Part A awarded October 2020). This federally funded position provides experience working with underserved populations in emerging areas of STEM and Agriculture, and provides support to learners who may be academically challenged in math and science. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Contribute to the academic success of students and the overall grant program;   Oversee a cadre of peer tutors in STEM related content areas; Assist in daily/routine operations related to grant initiatives and projects, including greenhouse support and vermiculture (worm-farming) support; Engage with the team in managing projects, deadlines, and deliverables; Explore instructional support strategies to increase learning. Qualifications include: Graduate degree in Education, Agriculture, Technology, Science, or a related field; Team player who is also able to work independently; Ability to organize and supervise peer tutors and track utilization of tutoring services; Experience developing and/or delivering instructional materials at the secondary or college level; Familiarity with the role of community colleges and the unique challenges of underserved populations; Federal grant or other grant experience preferred. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for an Executive Director of Physical Plant position.  This is a full-time, 12-month, professional staff position.  Salary is $75,000.00 per year with excellent benefits.  This position will supervise and direct the overall operation and maintenance of the Physical Plant, which includes the main campus, student apartments, Darlington Campus and the Royse Ranch locations.  Position is responsible for the administration of all custodial, mechanical, grounds maintenance, transportation and upkeep of campus buildings and grounds. Position reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief of Staff.  Duties and Responsibilities include:  Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all HVAC and heating units on campus, electrical and mechanical operations of each building, general building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, and transportation services. Oversee management and coordination of construction projects and contractors on campus. The Executive Director, along with the Director of the Physical Plant, will coordinate the daily work activities of all employees in the Physical Plant. Administrative direction and supervision of departmental budgets and personnel engaged in the maintenance and repair of campus buildings and equipment; care and cleaning of buildings and grounds; and operation of heating, air conditioning and ventilating systems along with responsibility for warehouse and transportation operations.  Qualifications include:  Must have 5 or more years of progressive operations and management experience in facilities operations in a complex organization; have experience with and a strong understanding of all licensing, regulatory and safety rules and regulations for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace environment; must hold or obtain the following within 60 days of hire: (1) Petroleum Storage Tank Operators Class A/B license, and (2) NIMS 400-level certification; have budget development and management experience; be a successful and experienced supervisor of a diverse employee population; possess exceptional people skills; possess excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task; and a demonstrated understanding of trade policies, procedures, codes, and practices. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Professor of Nursing/Assistant Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health position in the Nursing and Allied Health Department.  This is a full-time, tenure track, 10-month position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Adult Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, and Leadership Nursing along with an assigned clinical group; participate in assigned simulation times; assist with providing oversight of adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Department Head of Nursing and team members within clinical, laboratory, classroom settings; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; coordinate clinical rotations; assist with compiling data and departmental reports; participate in recruitment and maintaining partnerships between the college and other organizations within the community; report to the Nursing Department Head; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole; maintain regular office hours and participate as a faculty coach.  Candidates are expect to serve on institutional committees, attend scheduled in-services, and attend professional development programs. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local area schools, and others in the community to support educational achievement. Experience in managing and supervising diverse personnel. Familiar with design and implementation of articulation agreements. Position reports to Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000.
