A gentle yoga practice that accommodates beginners and intermediate level students. This practice uses the chair for some but not all of the poses. The class promotes balance, posture and good stretching to maximize overall well being. Classes are Monday/Wednesday, 12-12:45 p.m., Cultural Center, Sept. 10 thru Oct. 12. The next session begins Monday, Oct. 29.
When muscle meets yoga, Sculpt is born. Boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. Free weights are combined with Vinyasa yoga flow and cardio to intensify each pose with the addition of strength training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls for a power packed hour of fitness. Classes are Tuesday/Thursday, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Cultural Center, Sept. 11 thru Oct. 11. The next session begins Tuesday, Oct. 30.
These classes will prepare you to defend yourself by learning key components of What to hit, When to hit, How often and How hard. The sessions will be tailored toward the participant’s needs and requests with skills that everyone should learn. Classes are Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Allied Health Building (OE102), Sept. 12 thru Oct. 17.
Our staff loves to help senior adults stay active and fit. We have partnered with the national Silver Sneakers program to provide classes, wellness options and other resources on campus. The program includes instructor-led exercise classes twice a week, optional walking exercises three times a week and fun group outings.
Zumba/Cardio Dance is energetic Latin and hip-hop dance that includes high and low intensity moves coupled with light weights for some of the songs. The focus is on core and strength training. All ages and stages are welcome. Classes begin Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
We offer a state-of-the-art facility with the staff and equipment available to help you meet your fitness goals. The fitness center includes various fitness equipment, weights and locker rooms. A racquetball court is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Monday through Thursday: 6 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–7 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–6 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Passionate for promoting health and fitness, Anna Rinehart is a member of the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF) as both a Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Specialist. She practiced as a registered dietitian for 15 years prior to her certifications by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in health and exercise from the University of Oklahoma. She is a certified Silver Sneakers Instructor and Redlands personal trainer instructor along with coordinator of the Fitness for Life program and wellness/longevity classes.
