Adjunct Instructor for Biology - Part-time position(s)

Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position(s)

The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week. Responsibilities include: opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Part-time position for a grant funded program.  Applicant must be able to work M-W, June 3 through July 3, 2024. Bachelor’s degree in teaching core subject is required.  Desired applicant should have 1-2 years of teaching ACT prep, study skills, financial literacy or similar subject material, to high school students. Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a part-time Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include: arena and ranch general maintenance, painting, mowing and weed eating, fence building, operating farm machinery and equipment, general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.), may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; must be able to work in dusty conditions; must be able to work in all weather conditions; other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. (bale of hay etc.) in the course of their daily tasks. Skills, knowledge, and experience preferred: mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair including electric, barbed wire, and cable; ability to drive pickup pulling a trailer and backup. Requirements: current valid driver’s license; must be able to work flexible schedule, including some weekends and/or evenings as needed; must be able to read, comprehend, and follow operators manuals; must be able to understand and follow verbal directions; enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred, but not mandatory.  To apply: Complete an online employment application.
