El Reno Masonic Lodge #50, Redlands Aggie Club to Hold Annual Fundraiser

Redlands Community College is partnering with El Reno Masonic Lodge #50 to host the annual Aggie Club scholarship banquet and fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. May 10 in the Redlands Conference Center.

The event features silent and live auctions with proceeds providing scholarships for agriculture students. For every dollar raised, Masonic Lodge #50 requests matching funds from its charity foundation. Tickets are $12 at the door, with dinner catered by Swadley’s.

“We are grateful for the community’s support and for the contributions from the Masonic Lodge,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “Redlands has an outstanding agriculture program, and through the generosity of the Masons and hard work of our Aggie Club members, we have been able to award more than $50,000 in scholarships since 2006.”

Auction items this year include a guided fishing trip, a wooden cooler, a windmill, a 12 volt children’s Gator and baskets.

“We look forward to this fundraiser every year. This event helps our current and future agriculture students,” said Annie Pearson, Redlands instructor and Aggie Club sponsor. “With the matching funds from El Reno Masonic Lodge #50, the Aggie Club was presented with a check for $12,610 from last year’s banquet.”
