RCC Math / Science Department Mission Statement

The mission of the Math / Science department at Redlands Community College is to establish a strong foundation for students which enables completion of an Associate of Science degree and successful transfer to a baccalaureate program in order to achieve their career goals in scientific and technological fields. This is accomplished by fostering an environment that:

The Department of Science at Redlands also covers Developmental Math for students who either place into developmental mathematics courses or those who need a refresher before moving on to higher tier mathematics. Since Math is a sequential learning process, it is important for a student to begin where they are comfortable.
