Job Description
Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates for part-time, temporary adjunct faculty positions
in Agriculture. This position reports directly to the Department Head and is filled
on a “need-only” basis through a continuous vacancy announcement. All applications are kept on file,
and applicants will be notified when courses become available. Instruction may be
delivered online or in a traditional office/classroom setting, involving significant
public interaction—whether in person, by phone, via email, or through various communication
platforms.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teaching assigned classes
Supporting curriculum integrity in collaboration with the Department Head
Adhering to the official Redlands Community College course calendar, including holiday
breaks and designated start/end dates
Assessing and encouraging student achievement based per learning objectives
Interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in
groups
Promoting the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole
Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18
graduate credit hours in the discipline
Proficiency in verbal and written communication using clear, grammatically correct
English
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), email, and
internet usage
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience
Familiarity with various instructional delivery formats

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
