Vice President for Academic Affairs - Full-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Vice President for Academic Affairs position. This is a full-time, 12-month, administrative staff position with excellent benefits.  Responsibilities:  The Vice President for Academic Affairs serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the institution providing leadership for the college’s credit, non-credit, continuing education, adult education, career/academic programs and training, academic partnerships and academic development.  The VPAA serves as an advocate for the creation and maintenance of a student/learning centered environment and the development of the “total” student.  As Chief Academic Officer, the VP organizes, monitors and coordinates all aspects of the institution’s academic programs, including the curriculum, educational policies, academic budget, and academic personnel; and implements goals, policies, regulations and programs for the academic division which represent the institutions commitment to academic integrity and accountability.  The Vice President serves on the President’s Cabinet, the Strategic Planning Committee and other institutional standing committees and ad hoc committees as assigned.  Serves as the institution’s primary representative in matters relating to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Council on Instruction.  This position works closely with the academic department heads, faculty, students, staff and administration.  This position reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief of Staff. Qualifications: a master's degree is required; ability to effectively collaborate with the instructional areas to ensure academic and student success; demonstrate a commitment to a team approach to management; and effective communication skills that foster a collegial, collaborative working environment.  Knowledge of Title IX and FERPA is valuable.  Previous experience in a community college environment preferred with a strong commitment to the community college philosophy. To apply: submit a cover letter, resume, copies of college transcripts, and three references with names, addresses, and phone numbers.
