Applications are available online for tuition waivers and scholarships. Tuition waiver scholarships range from $250 to $1,000 for each academic year, while the Redlands Community College Foundation offers several scholarship programs. 

“We are pleased to be able to offer students a way to make a college education more affordable,” said Redlands President Jack Bryant. “Financial aid is necessary for so many students, and these tuition waivers and foundation scholarships help fill the financial gap for Redlands students.”

Bring your family, appetite and highest bids to the Redlands Community College Student Nursing Association’s Winter Wonderland. The annual fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Redlands Conference Center, located at 1300 S. Country Club Rd. 

Members of the Redlands Community College Fitness Center now have more options when working out. Thanks to several generous donations, the college was able to purchase two new pieces of exercise equipment to add to the fitness center: a rowing machine and a recumbent bike. 

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Redlands Community College Native American Student Organization (NASO) has several events planned Nov. 13 through 15.

The week of activities will kick off with a traditional teepee setup on the east front lawn of the college at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13. A drum group will be performing in addition to a cedar ceremony.

Redlands Community College launched its newly designed website this week. It’s focused on providing an easier way for students to locate the information they need for classes, campus activities and financial assistance.

The college also released its new Spring 2019 class schedule.

The dynamic platform is at www.redlandscc.edu and includes new academic department pages, hovering text, an enhanced search experience and quick access to financial assistance information.

El Reno Masonic Lodge #50 recently presented a check to the Redlands Community College Aggie Club for $10,124 to support the organization’s scholarship program for agriculture students.

“The Aggie Club appreciates the support of Masonic Lodge #50 and the opportunities this partnership provides our students,” said Amanda Thornbrugh, Aggie Club president. “The funds we received will greatly benefit our students by helping them pursue their education and career goals.”

Scholarships play a vital role in making college a reality for many high school students, and the Redlands Community College Foundation is committed to providing that opportunity by raising funds through its popular Dollars for Scholars event.
