Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at $10.00 per hour at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include:  Arena and ranch general maintenance; painting, mowing and weedeating; fence building; operating farm machinery and equipment; general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.); may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; and other duties as assigned.  Skills, Knowledge and Experience preferred:  Mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair (electric, barbed wire, and cable); and ability to drive a pickup while pulling a trailer and be able to back it up.  Requirements:  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. (bale of hay etc.) in the course of their daily tasks; current valid driver’s license; must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and/or evenings as needed; must be able to read, comprehend, and follow operator manuals; must be able to understand and follow verbal directions; must be able to work in dusty conditions; and must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred, but not mandatory.  To apply:  Interested applicants are required to complete an online employment application. Upward Bound Math Instructor - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position for a grant funded program.  Applicant must be able to work M-W, June 3 through July 3, 2024.  Bachelor’s degree in teaching core subject is required.  Desired applicant should have two years of teaching mathematics to high school students. Professional Tutor(s) for ACE - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s) working up to 20 hours per week. The Academic Center for Enhancement (A.C.E.) is seeking professional tutors for Mathematics, Science, and Writing. Tutors will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions in approved subjects; facilitate learning as a guide to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner; facilitate an increase and enhancement in student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course of study as presented by the course instructor; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the student's potential for academic progress. A Professional Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate well with students and instructors. Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week and may include housing. This position pays $7.50 per hour. The Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball reports directly to the Head Coach for Men's Basketball. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting - Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games and/or practices. Go to showcases in Oklahoma and Out-of-State. 2) Scouting opponents. 3) Game Day - Supervise game stats, coordinate filming and streaming games, pre-game roster certification, post-game equipment and gear verification. 4) Social Media updates. Human Resources Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a part-time Human Resources Assistant position. Learning Resources Center Assistant - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is accepting applications for a Learning Resources Center Assistant. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Serve as the first point of contact with students, faculty, and staff using the LRC and/or phoning the College; answer the switchboard in a helpful and professional manner at all times; assist LRC users in locating both electronic and print resources; teach basic research strategies; aid students in accessing and using online resources; process/catalog new library materials; assist in maintaining LRC holdings in OCLC; process/fulfill interlibrary loan requests; assist with statistics and production of reports as requested; maintain patron database in ILS; prepare overdue lists; and other duties as assigned. Fitness Center Worker - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for the Fitness Center Worker position(s). These are part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week. Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. Farm Hand at Darlington - Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s), working up to 25 hours per week. Livestock work is mainly with meat goats. Responsibilities include: Attending to live animals, which includes feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Other duties may include landscaping and maintenance on the Darlington campus, maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to do general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas; be able to operate tractors, mowers, and string trimmers; and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Additionally, applicants must be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; be able to tolerate animal dander; and be able to work a highly flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Peer Tutor(s) for NASNTI STEM - Part-time position(s)

Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Math and Science. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study, learning to enhance academic success and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff.  Qualifications include: A grade of “B” or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided and enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College is preferred, though students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered.   To apply: Complete an online employment application.
