Professor of Agriculture and Science - Full-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a full-time Professor of Agriculture and Science position. This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teaching responsibilities include teaching agriculture and science courses; actively engage in statewide course equivalency initiatives to assure transfer of credits; participate in teaching and professional development; and assist in student retention, recruitment, and academic student engagement.  This position will also be a co-sponsor of the Aggie Club.  Co-sponsor responsibilities include recruiting and encouraging students to join and participate in the Aggie Club; arrange for and sponsor Aggie Club meetings during fall and spring semester; mentor Aggie Club officers with their job responsibilities; assist with organizing Spring Aggie Club banquet; and oversee all aspects of the Aggie Club budget and expenditures. Required Qualifications:  Master's degree or above in Agriculture from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in both the disciplines of Science and Agriculture; have two years of full time teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred with dedication to teaching, professional development, and academic student engagement; and be an accomplished, creative, and energetic teacher that can provide evidence of teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.  Preferred Qualifications:  A Doctorate is preferred; Community College teaching experience is preferred. Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for Adjunct Instructor for Clinical Nursing positions for the nursing program. Responsibilities include: teach assigned clinical groups, participate in assigned simulation times, or teach course subjects as arranged in one or more nursing specialties including Medical Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal-Newborn, Psychiatric, or Community Nursing; maintain communication with students and faculty weekly and as needed to report student progress; report to the Nursing Department Head; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in healthcare facilities; promote the mission of the Department, as well as the College as a whole. Qualifications include: Master's degree in nursing preferred and Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, prior teaching experience is also preferred. Position reports to the Department Head. This a temporary position based on departmental needs and availabilities each semester. Adjunct Professor for Mathematics - Part-time position(s)

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for Adjunct teaching positions in the Mathematics department. Responsibilities: teach assigned classes in Mathematics; update course materials, which includes updating syllabi according to course objectives for any courses assigned; assess student academic achievement; hold office hours for assisting students; and participate in department activities. Qualifications: a Master's degree required with 18-graduate hours in Mathematics or STEM discipline; two years of teaching experience, preferably at the community college level; and previous experience in a community college environment preferred.
