Redlands Prepares for Fall Semester

Classes will resume at Redlands Community College Aug. 13, and to help new and returning students prepare for the fall semester, the Student Services office will hold a special enrollment night from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 7.

“This is the perfect opportunity for anyone planning to attend Redlands to get one-on-one help with the enrollment process,” said Amy Graham, director of Student Services. “Starting college can be overwhelming for new students and finding time to take care of all the back-to-school details can be challenging for returning students. We look forward to helping all our students get ready for the new academic year.”

During the enrollment night event, advisors will be available to help students enroll in classes and to discuss financial aid. Attendees can also tour campus apartments and make housing reservations. Placement tests will be given as needed on a walk-in basis until 6:15 p.m.

Registration for the event is online at www.redlandscc.edu. All students must bring a photo ID, and new students must bring an official high school transcript, any college transcripts, and ACT scores for tests taken less than two years ago. New students will also need to bring bank account and routing numbers to establish a method to process refunds. To apply for financial aid, students need to submit the Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA).

“Enrollment night is one-stop shopping for our students since representatives from different offices will be on hand to help,” said Kelsey Heggy, senior academic advisor, “but students are encouraged to stop by our office any time Monday through Friday to meet with an advisor.”

The Student Services office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, please contact Admissions and Advising at 405.422.1417 and Admissions@redlandscc.edu.
