Professor of Nursing - Full-time position. 
Redlands Community College is accepting applications for a nursing professor for the ACEN accredited and OBN approved Associate Degree in Nursing RN Program. Position will report to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health and is a full-time, 9-month faculty position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Classroom and clinical teaching in the nursing program; instruct and support the integrity of the curricula in team teaching model; follow Redlands Community College official calendar for course calendar, observing holiday breaks, start and stop times; assess and encourage student achievement per student learning objectives; interact in an effective and encouraging manner with students individually and in groups; and promote the mission of the division as well as the college as a whole. Professor of English and Speech – Full-time position.
Nine-month, full-time tenure track Faculty position with excellent benefits.  Under the direction of the Department Head for Liberal Studies, the English and Speech faculty will be required to: aid in curriculum development and teach English Composition I and II, Fundamentals of Speech, Interpersonal Communications and other English and Literature courses, as needed; actively engage in statewide course equivalency initiatives to assure transfer of credits; participate in teaching and professional development; actively serve on institutional and Faculty Senate committees; assist in student retention, recruitment and academic student engagement. Candidate must have a strong interest in working with other faculty to integrate competency-based learning into the curriculum and have a knowledge of assessment theories.  Required Qualifications include a Master's Degree in English or Communications with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in both English and Communications required; two years of full-time teaching experience at the community college level with proven dedication to teaching, professional development and academic student engagement.  Preferred qualifications include evidence of accomplishments as a creative and energetic teacher who has a desire to aid and mentor community college students; evidence of a career that has featured a strong work ethic and project completion as well as the ability to multi-task and be flexible; ability and credentials to teach Humanities courses, a plus; a student-centered teaching philosophy that expands opportunities outside of the classroom through Honors and Service-Learning projects; familiarity and willingness to teach in multiple modalities (traditional, on-campus, live classes; online classes; IETV classes, and concurrent classes); knowledge of Higher Learning Commission standards, and working knowledge of the Blackboard Learning Management System. Adjunct Professor of Mathematics – Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for an adjunct teaching position in the Mathematics department. Under the direction of the Department Head of Mathematics, the Adjunct Mathematics Faculty may be required to teach quantitative reasoning, college algebra, trigonometry, elementary statistics and all levels of calculus. Adjunct Faculty are limited to 9-credit hours per Fall/Spring semester and 6-credit hours per summer semester. Required Qualifications: Master's degree or above in Mathematics, or a Master's degree or above in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Mathematics; Two years of full time teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred with dedication to teaching, professional development, and academic student engagement. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with course management system such as MOODLE, BlackBoard, or Canvas; Familiarity with an online homework system such as MyMathLab or Webassign; Familiarity with teaching in multiple modalities (traditionally on campus, online, IETV, and concurrent students); Evidence of effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills; Evidence of a career that includes strong work ethic with a proven track record of project completion, multi-tasking, and the ability to hand high-pressure environments. Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructors - Part-time positions.
Redlands Community College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for clinical instruction for the ACEN accredited and OBN approved Associate Degree in Nursing RN program. Successful candidates will work in a team, either freshman or sophomore level, in clinical settings with nursing student groups. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to pre-conference with nursing students at clinical facilities as required, clinical supervision, post-conference with students, grading of care plans, and clinical evaluations of nursing students at the end of clinical experience. Adjunct orientation will be provided to facilitate the role of clinical instructor and review paperwork necessary for the role. Redlands strives to maintain a climate of open communication where faculty is included in decision making and guidance of situations with students. Qualifications include an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license; equivalent of two years full-time practice as an RN; and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. SUPPORT

Summer Law Intern - Part-time, temporary position.
The Early Settlement Mediation Grant program is seeking a temporary part-time summer law intern. The position will be working 12 hours per week from June 4, 2018 through August 10, 2018.  The position will be under the direction of the Early Settlement Mediation Program Director.  This position will be responsible for mediating in small claims court for Canadian and Grady Counties, working with community volunteers and observing family mediations.  Qualified person must be self-starter who requires minimal supervision and has the ability to prioritize work assignments.  Qualified person must have good oral and written communication skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field preferred. The applicant must be currently enrolled in law school. Qualified person must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Qualified person must have attended or be able to attend basic mediation training program from the Administration Office of the Courts and become certified in order to maintain the position. Lifeguards - Part-time/Temporary positions
Part-time, temporary position, working up to 25 hours per week. Position runs until June 30, 2018. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in a quick and effective manner; enforce all facility policies, rules and regulations; inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor; and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include: current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid, and American Red Cross CPR/AED; and have a thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques. Ranch Hand - Part-time position.
Part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week.  Work is at the Royse Ranch campus.  Responsibilities include general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.), general maintenance, painting, mowing, fence building, operating farm machinery and equipment, may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products and other duties as assigned.  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. (bale of hay etc.) in the course of their daily tasks. Upward Bound Tutor - Part-time/Temporary position.
This position is located in Hinton, Oklahoma. The federally funded Upward Bound program is seeking an individual to serve as a tutor in the areas of Math, Science, and English. The position runs during the academic year only, August- May. The position is one hour a week at Hinton High School. Applicant must be or have been a certified teacher in the state of Oklahoma, demonstrate leadership and dependability, and have good moral standards. Responsibilities include assisting TRIO Upward Bound students in all subject areas, supporting all program policies, and maintaining accurate records. Veterans Upward Bound Peer Tutor(s) - Part-time position(s)
Part-time position(s) working up to 6 hours per week. The Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program is seeking tutor(s) for multiple locations, including the Veterans' Affairs Medical Center in downtown Oklahoma City. Specifically, VUB is seeking tutor(s) in the following areas of study: Mathematics, Reading and Writing. Tutor(s) will provide individual and small group tutoring sessions; facilitate learning as a guide to assist VUB participants to become successful, independent learners; and integrate effective study and learning strategies to maximize the participant's potential for academic progress. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to establish rapport and communicate with participants. Qualifications include: Successfully completed the course of study with a grade of "B" or better for which they will be tutoring. Preferred Qualification: Letter of recommendation from subject area instructor. Ability to provide tutoring in all areas. Fitness Center Workers – Part-time positions.
Part-time positions working up to 25 hours per week.  Positions are responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals using the Fitness Center facility.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to being alert at all times of surroundings, preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury, keep facility and equipment clean at all times, report broken equipment or building problems, show members how to use equipment as needed, react to emergency situations. Peer Tutors for NASNTI-STEM - Part-time position(s).
Part-time student positions working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program. The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) Stem (Part A) Grant is looking for tutors in all areas of Science and Mathematics. Tutors will provide individual and group tutoring sessions designed to increase student mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course, integrate skills in effective study and learning to enhance academic success, and provide general academic assistance in one or more science areas of study. A Peer Tutor must demonstrate an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and NASNTI-STEM program staff. Qualifications include: a grade of “B” or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided and enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College is preferred, though students enrolled at four-year institutions will be considered. Peer tutors must exhibit good work habits such as time management, resource management, and flexibility. Testing Center Proctor - Part-time position.
The Academic Center for Enhancement is seeking a Testing Center Proctor.  This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, which may include some evening hours. Responsibilities include opening and closing the Testing Center, proctoring exams, maintaining test security, assisting professors with exam submissions, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free environment, and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications include enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College preferred. Zumba Instructor - Part-time position.
Redlands Community College is looking for a part-time Certified Zumba Instructor. The applicant must be able to safely encourage and instruct participants on Zumba routines. Motivational skills are a must, as a variety of fitness levels will be present in most classes. The Instructor is responsible for providing their own music and choreography for each class. Good communication tools are necessary to communicate and properly instruct the class. Proof of certification is required. Experience is preferred. CLERY STATEMENT

Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and security of our campuses.

Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands, to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is believed to exist.
