Professor of Chemistry

Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a full-time Professor of Chemistry position. This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month position with excellent benefits. Responsibilities include:  Teaches, advises, recruits and mentors students, evaluates student performance, and maintains department and student information in accordance with policies. Adheres to the educational philosophy of the college. Works in a collaborative manner with colleagues and professional peers. Participates in meetings that relate specifically to faculty and department needs. Develops curriculum and assessment plans for courses in field of expertise and integrates applied research into the curriculum. Candidates will be expected to teach courses and laboratories within the areas of chemistry and physical sciences. Courses may include General Chemistry I and II, Survey of General, Organic and Biochemistry and Physical Science.  Candidates may be expected to teach in a variety of instructional formats (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) as well as morning, day and evening classes. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the chemical inventory of the department, maintaining safety protocols for the labs and waste disposal.  Required Qualifications:  Master's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in chemistry related area; have two years of teaching experience at the collegiate level with dedication to teaching, professional development, and academic student engagement; and be an accomplished, creative, and energetic teacher that can provide evidence of teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.  Effective online teaching experience including completion of Quality Matters online training certification (or willingness to complete). Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for a Ranch Hand at Royse Ranch. This is a part-time position, limited to working 25 hours per week at $10.00 per hour at the Royse Ranch location.  Responsibilities include:  Arena and ranch general maintenance; painting, mowing and weedeating; fence building; operating farm machinery and equipment; general care of animals (i.e., feeding, watering, cleaning of pens, etc.); may include the use of some chemicals and hazardous products; and other duties as assigned.  Skills, Knowledge and Experience preferred:  Mechanical maintenance and repair; welding; chemical application; operate tractors with frontend loaders; operate zero-turn mowers; operate engine driven tools (weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.); cattle handling (gathering, sorting, loading, and administering medication and vaccine); tagging calves at birth without help; fence building and repair (electric, barbed wire, and cable); and ability to drive a pickup while pulling a trailer and be able to back it up.  Requirements:  Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. Redlands Partners with Langston University to Expand Nursing Education Opportunities

A new agreement between the Langston University School of Nursing and Health Professions and Redlands Community College will allow graduates of Redlands’ nursing program to more easily obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Langston University. The agreement was formally signed Friday on the LU Langston campus.

Upward Bound Math Instructor

Part-time position for a grant funded program.  Applicant must be able to work M-W, June 3 through July 3, 2024.  Bachelor’s degree in teaching core subject is required.  Desired applicant should have two years of teaching mathematics to high school students. Beef Show Team Coach

Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball

Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week and may include housing. This position pays $7.50 per hour. The Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball reports directly to the Head Coach for Men's Basketball. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting - Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games and/or practices. Go to showcases in Oklahoma and Out-of-State. 2) Scouting opponents. 3) Game Day - Supervise game stats, coordinate filming and streaming games, pre-game roster certification, post-game equipment and gear verification. 4) Social Media updates.
